Job description: Job Summary
The Salesforce Administrator supports the management of Salesforce for the Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business Salesforce Org within the Purdue University (PanPurdue) Salesforce infrastructure. The administrator is responsible for the secure and efficient management of data within the system, day-to-day management of system extensions and tools, troubleshooting issues, drafting, and presenting reports and dashboards on performance analytics, anticipating and accounting for current and future Salesforce needs for the school, and adapting the school's system training and general approach to the evolution of the university's Salesforce environment. In addition, the administrator serves as a resource and support personnel for some development work that augments or enhances the Salesforce ecosystem. As the school's primary power user of Salesforce, the administrator also works with counterparts across campus and those serving to support the larger Salesforce development on campus.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Business, or a related field
- 4 years of relevant experience using Salesforce or related technical experience
- Understanding of Salesforce best practices and familiarity with Salesforce environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to develop creative solutions
- Excellent project management skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize work
- Ability to communicate complex and technical subject matter effectively to all levels of the organization: orally and in writing
- Competency in gathering and documenting business requirements
- Exemplary customer service through frequent communication, positive relations, and prompt support
- Ability to critically evaluate business requests from the underlying true needs of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision on daily tasks and projects
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Advanced Administrator Credentials
- Knowledge of SOQL and ERDs
- Knowledge of ETL tools (example: Skyvia)
- Experience working with Agile methodology
- Experience working with Higher Education EDA structure
