Starting Annual Salary Range: $38,175.54 - $65,054.08

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Incumbent must be licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida.
- A bachelorÂs degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and three (3) years of professional social work experience (a masterÂs degree in social work can substitute for two (2) years of the required experience).
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and possess intermediate computer and computing application skills.
- Exemplary documentation skills; i.e. Electronic Health Record experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a long-term health care environment.
- Experience and knowledge of geriatric populations, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
- Experience with crisis intervention.
- Experience with assessments and the maintenance of the psychosocial needs of residents and families.
- Experience with Minimum Data Set 3.0.
- Experience with team care plans, Baker Act procedures, behavior management, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- The incumbent is a duly licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Florida and reports directly to the Homes Program Director.
- This position has complete oversight and responsibility for clinical and fiscal operations of the facility, to include but not limited to:
- budgetary management
- maintenance
- all business office functions
- ensure effective management of human services while optimizing resident, family and employee outcome.
- Responsible for all departmental services provided in the home to include, administrative, medical, nursing, financial, environmental, dietary and maintenance.
- Responsible for the implementation of all Florida Department of Veterans Affairs policies, standards/ procedures and ensures compliance by all departments.
- Ensures compliance with established clinical and professional standards and with all state and federal survey guidelines.
- Administers the fiscal operations of the facility to include financial policies and standards, budget development, management of budget controls and cost containment program, enhanced revenue streams, and direct oversight of all business office functions.
- Responsible for a marketing plan for the facility that ensures that resident census performance standards are met consistently.
- Responsible for the development of the facility Disaster Plan and ensures that the facility is prepared for any emergency situations.
- Responsible for all human resource functions to ensure qualified, trained staff in all departments.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the physical plant and grounds, ensuring a clean and attractive facility free of all internal and external hazards.
- Serves as the Privacy Officer for the facility ensuring compliance with all HIPAA regulations and maintains strict compliance with all applicable privacy and confidentiality polices and standards.
- Promotes community involvement and develops community contacts. Encourages families and community groups to participate in facility activities and is actively involved with the resident council.
- Conducts an annual resident/family survey and ensures continuous improvement based on the survey results.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all facility computer systems.
