Position Highlights
The Senior Coordinator will lead efforts focused on graduate learner engagement and lifelong learning opportunities for Arizona Online students and other ODCE (Online, Distance and Cont. Ed.) learner populations. They will develop virtual programing focused on graduate and post-baccalaureate populations in collaboration with the Arizona Online Student Success (OSS) team, UA Graduate College, UA Graduate Center, and other campus stakeholders. They will also expand lifelong learning opportunities throughout ODCE by collaborating with the Continuing & Professional Education (CaPE) and Near You Network teams to develop virtual engagement strategies that encourage learners to pursue additional online, hybrid, credentials, and other learning opportunities within ODCE.

Duties & Responsibilities
Program Management:
- Work with individuals across campus to ensure online graduate programs and services are streamlined and effective. Ensure consistency in the online graduate student experience by leading the training and ongoing professional development of the student services staff within UArizona colleges/departments who are serving online graduate student populations across ODCE. Lead the Arizona Online Grad Coordinator Collective (GCC) group.
- Develop virtual programming that is supportive of online/hybrid graduate student populations, in collaboration with Manager of Online Student Engagement and OSS team.
- Expand and refine use of Success Coach support services for Arizona Online's Graduate student populations, in collaboration with the Associate Director of OSS.
- Serve as a subject matter expert within university committees or working groups related to online/hybrid graduate student populations.
- Evaluate existing graduate policies for academic barriers that impede progress for online/hybrid graduate student populations. Collaborate with OSSI leadership team to resolve challenges or make appropriate policy change recommendations.
- Coordinate with Continuing & Prof. Ed (CaPE) team to develop learner engagement strategies, including noncredit-to-credit pathways, that could potentially lead to future enrollment in degree-seeking opportunities within ODCE.
- Collaborate with Near You Network (NYN) Regional student success teams to translate online engagement best practices into hybrid activities targeted to Distance campus graduate populations.
- Participate in relevant departmental meetings, hiring committees, and special projects that support Arizona Online Student Success Initiatives.
- Contribute to ODCEâ??s strategic plan through scholarly practice and ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge of online, post-traditional, adult, and/or transfer student populations

- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of related work experience
- Masterâ??s degree or higher in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or other related discipline.
- Experience with online, adult, community college/transfer, or military-connected student populations.
- Previous academic advising or other experience within higher education student services.
- Experience using PeopleSoft or other SIS technology.
- Experience using Salesforce (Trellis), Slate or other CRM technology.
- Experience in customer service skills, especially life coaching or career coaching, counseling, and/or education.
