As a geospatial analyst, youÂll work with a team of analysts and domain experts to extract meaning and context from a variety of vector and raster data sources. Using resources like ESRI ArcGIS or Google Earth, youÂll develop new ways to find patterns and connections to answer your customerÂs needs.
YouÂll also use your skills to leverage satellite and airborne remote sensing solutions and analyze data to assess meaning and potential intent. Your visualization skills will come in handy to make sure stakeholders have the timely information they need. You Have:
- Experience with a Geospatial Information System (GIS) application to perform and visualize geospatial analysis
- Experience using geospatial software tools such as ESRI ArcGIS or Google Earth, and geospatial data
- Experience using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access, SharePoint, or SQL to manage data and databases
- Experience with data collection, data processing, data visualization, data analytics, and data science approaches and tools
- Experience with data management, data cleansing, analytic tool development, graph analytics, decision support analytics, and GEOINT collection requirements and operations
- Knowledge of querying for GEOINT data and how to develop custom data queries and visualizations to meet and anticipate customer requirements
- Ability to access, categorize, and integrate multiple sources of data, including real-time or dynamic, imagery, or open source
- Ability to create, edit, and evaluate technical accuracy of presentation materials, visual aids, and graphics
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience analyzing GEOINT collection strategies to propose recommendations for optimizing collection based on data from established and emerging GEOINT data repositories
- Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with scripting or scientific languages, including Python, R, C++, or Java
- Knowledge of GEOINT analytical databases and reporting tools
- Knowledge of collection capabilities and methods
- Ability to create and maintain analytic models for a variety of data sources
- Ability to learn Map of the World, ArcGIS, Google Earth, or similar applications
- Ability to use GIS tools to analyze SIGINT databases
- DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualÂs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz AllenÂs total compensation package for employees.
