Serve as the Administrative Assistant to the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Innovation.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the purchase and maintenance of curricular materials including the processing of payments, barcoding, sorting and distribution, and coordination with vendors
- Manage professional development data in a digital platform including registration, attendance, enrollment, users, and evaluations
- Maintain all records, including multiple digital inventories
- Maintain accurate budget spreadsheets for the department
- Assist in the coordination of assessment materials
- Assist in the coordination of summer school programming
- Manage on and off-site conferences or meetings (registration, payments and contracts, coordination with guest presenters, room and board arrangements, transportation needs, room usage, food requests, facility set up, needed materials)
- Coordinate efforts with the Lake County Regional Office of Education
- Prepare correspondence and communicate with stakeholders around department projects
- Assist in general operations of the department including welcoming visitors, placing and receiving telephone calls, and performing special assignments
- Collaborate with the district clerk to complete inventory tasks
- Other duties as assigned

- Minimum of two years experience in a similar position or environment preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
EVALUATION: Annually by Assistant Superintendents of Teaching and Learning, and the Department of Innovation
Terms/Hours: 12 month position; 8 hours per day
Salary: Based upon expierence
