WeÂd be pleased to find a collaborative psychotherapist interested in our team-based approach, which combines multiple modalities to serve people with mood... anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. The ideal candidate would help develop personalized treatment plans that draw from different therapeutic techniques to support the growth and wellbeing of those we serve.
Our unique approach offers a blend of traditional therapies as well as mindfulness, meditation, yoga, art, and coaching in a beautiful office suite designed with a lot of love. We work individually, honoring each individual therapistÂs autonomy, and collaboratively. We value learning with each other in our biweekly staff meetings and from the expertise of colleagues in the field whom we regularly invite to join us. Most importantly, we are a group deeply committed to our clients and each otherÂs wellbeing.
Position Overview
As a ketamine assisted psychotherapist, you will work with our psychiatrist, Dr. Marni Chanoff. YouÂd meet with clients for evaluations along with Dr. Chanoff and then for preparation and integration sessions with clients on your own. For ketamine sessions, you and Dr. Chanoff would find the right flow for the psychedelic assisted psychotherapy inspired 3-hour sessions. YouÂd be present for the entirety of the session as guide and therapist and Dr. Chanoff would join at the beginning and end of each session.
Responsibilities
 Conduct ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP) sessions in collaboration with Dr. Chanoff
 Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions for preparation and integration pre- and post-ketamine sessions
 Coordinate with Dr. Chanoff on KAP session scheduling
 Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions for non-KAP clients
 Document session notes in our Electronic Medical Record (Luminello) in a timely manner
 Collaborate with the clinical team to develop comprehensive and integrative treatment plans
 Attend bi-weekly staff meetings and alternating biweekly check-in meetings with Dr. Chanoff
 Adhere to HIPAA laws and Joy In HealthÂs cybersecurity protocol
Qualifications
 Current Massachusetts state licensure or certification as a mental health professional (LICSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD)
 MasterÂs or doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling or a related field from an accredited institution
 Trained and certified in ketamine assisted psychotherapy
 At least 2 years of experience conducting psychotherapy sessions
 Strong interpersonal and communication skills
 Empathic and non-judgmental approach to working with clients
 Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a team
 Willingness to work with a flexible schedule dependent on your availability
 Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and seek supervision as necessary
 Proficiency in integrating multiple therapeutic modalities to create a holistic and client-centered treatment approach
Location
 Our office is in Medford Center, MA, on the Mystic River
 Preparation/integration sessions and individual psychotherapy sessions can be conducted virtually, if requested by client
Job Type
Part-time/per diem building to half-time (approx.20h/week) employment
