Social Media Account Manager - Full-time {In-person and remote}

We are hunting for a new social media account manager to join our team. You must be ready to work with multiple brands creating enticing copy and follow a brand's voice. In this role, you will be responsible for creating marketing and sales copy for different brands on numerous social platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn... Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. You will help develop and maintain the strategic plan and create accompanying graphics to follow a brand's image and voice. You will also create platform-specific content. You must have a good eye for trends and an understanding of social media algorithms.
We are not looking for someone to write generic posts for all platforms (making our clients' brands seem out of touch). We are looking for someone who is a natural storyteller and has experience with creative writing while using numbers to help paint a picture.

The successful candidate will be on a creative team with marketers and graphic designers. This will include but is not limited to social media captions, paid digital ads, email campaigns, blogs, and websites. We are looking for someone who is proficient in creating error-free content that is interesting to read!
Although general work hours are 9 am to 6 pm Eastern, Monday to Friday, client requests, monitoring, and action may occur outside those times from time to time, as this role is a 24/7 responsibility. Anything can happen at any time online.
RESPONSIBILITIES
 Create engaging marketing content including, but not limited to, landing pages, social posts, product pages, banners, email campaigns, ad campaigns, branded documents
 Work closely with the Team Manager to create and execute marketing content strategy and develop campaign ideas and implementation.
 Write blog posts for a variety of clients and optimize for SEO
 Write long-form and short-form blogs on a variety of topics
 Craft email newsletters
 Interview clients for articles and blogs as needed
 Write website copy
 Write meta descriptions, SEO titles, and alt text
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
 University or College education in English, journalism, creative writing, etc.
 A perceptive storyteller with an extended vocabulary and flexible writing in multiple tones and voices
 A great communicator who asks questions to get all information needed before starting
 Someone who can work with revisions quickly
 Ability to adapt to different styles/tones of voice and brand guidelines
 Strong understanding of the nuances of social media & digital marketing
 Close attention to detail with grammar & spelling
 Easily adaptable to changes and tight deadlines
 Experience in writing SEO copy an asset
LOCATION
 We are open to candidates who can work efficiently and virtually while also being available to work in-person in Ormond Beach, Florida.
COMPENSATION
Our starting hourly rate is $20, depending on experience.
