This Senior Digital Content Strategist is vital in achieving this commitment to our members through their focus on innovative content strategy and solutions, team support and coaching, and accountability for growth and results in the UnitedHealth Group portfolio of products offered to Medicare beneficiaries. The Senior Digital Content StrategistÂs chief focus is to develop a content strategy that conforms to UnitedHealthcareÂs unique regulatory environment while creatively achieving business goals. They are accountable for planning, designing, creating, writing, and editing content that informs and engages members. This Content Strategist envisions and brings to life innovative content that drives meaningful online traffic to Medicare & Retirement websites.

Primary Responsibilities
 Develop Others and Manage Team Operations and Processes:
 Mentor and coach team on professional development and progress towards goals
 Train team on job skills, product information, systems and processes
 Assess direct reports hard/soft skills and performance
 Monitor, coach and train team members through legal, federal and state compliance
 Influence and articulate brand standards and messaging through collaborative engagement
 Develop strong partnerships across UnitedHealthcare to ensure maximum team coherence

 Write digital content that will drive response and enhance the customer experience

Required Qualifications
 4+ years of experience in content management and content strategy, including UI/UX best practice
 4+ years of experience in digital marketing writing and communications
 4+ years of experience managing and developing professional direct reports
 Experience working in a matrixed, compliance-driven organization
 Advanced or higher level of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
 Familiarity with content management systems, preferably Adobe Experience Manager
 Knowledge of Medicare products and/or Medicare business
 Proven ability to confidently lead, communicate and influence without authority
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
