Work Hours: Standard business hours (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) Job Type: Full-Time W-2 position with benefits Our Benefits/Perks Include:  Health Insurance (100% employee covered!)  Paid time off/Holiday pay (2 weeks PTO, 7 paid Holidays!)  Short Term Disability  Flexible Schedules  Fully Remote Work Remote Bookkeeper Job Summary: As a Remote Bookkeeper specializing in the legal industry, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with industry regulations for our clients. Your responsibilities will include reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and managing financial transactions with a keen attention to detail. Collaborating with legal professionals and other stakeholders, you will contribute to the overall financial health of the organization by generating financial reports, assisting with budgeting, and implementing efficient accounting procedures. Remote Bookkeeper Responsibilities:  Transform disorganized financial records of new clients into streamlined, accurate documentation  Execute diverse bookkeeping tasks, including data entry into QuickBooks Online, payroll processing, monitoring advanced client costs, bank account reconciliation, conducting three-way reconciliations on trust accounts, identifying errors in practice management software, and handling 1099 processing  Respond to client calls and facilitate monthly financial meetings via Zoom  Supervise junior bookkeepers  Manage a portfolio of approximately 30 clients, primarily law firms  Engage in client-facing communications through emails, Zoom calls, phone calls, etc Remote Bookkeeper Qualifications:  2+ years of bookkeeping experience  1+ years of experience utilizing Quickbooks Online is a must  Legal field industry experience a plus  2+ years of Excel experience, with the ability to handle basic formulas. Advanced Excel skills are a plus  Knowledge of software integration (i.e. Quickbooks Online integration)  Must have P.C. computer, reliable internet, and a professional, distraction-free work space  High school diploma or GED  Must be able to pass a background check  Must be able to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
