SHI has an exciting opportunity in our internal IT department. We are looking for an experienced Sr Manager to help manage Datacenter Operations teams. These teams are responsible for managing and providing support for our Datacenters internal to SHI. We are looking for a highly motivated leader to help develop our practice, mature our processes, and drive our effort to scale the... companyÂs needs. This manager will lead teams for backups, windows updates, PowerPlatform and Collaboration, Microsoft Infrastructure services, and Cloud (GCP, AWS and Azure) This team manages the technology in the DataCenter to ensure the operation is healthy. They are also responsible for supporting core foundation services leveraged by the business and other IT groups. The Sr. Manager of Datacenter- Operations will report to the Sr. Director of IT Operations. This position will report to the Somerset NJ (HQ) office or SHI Austin office.

Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
 Build and operate our core server infrastructure technology.
 Automate provisioning of resources levering our internal and cloud-based infrastructure.
 Help design and deploy a comprehensive Monitoring solution within our environment.
 Evaluate and help design HA solutions to ensure resiliency within our environment
 Design and implement strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets demand
 Maintain availability performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining high availability of services
 Design and deploy a mature lifecycle management strategy around all datacenter hardware.
 Help build and maintain a culture of positive, productive, well prepared, and trained individuals to ensure we are delivering at a high level.
 Help mature our cloud strategy
 Manage team of core platform engineers who are responsible for the health of our enterprise solutions
 Ensure all standard operating procedures and associated documents are up to date and effective
 Develop and maintain KPIs to measure team performance to ensure we are meeting our objectives
 Capacity Planning: Develop, maintain, and update capacity planning processes, tools, and documentation.
 Work closely with other groups to proactively ensure operational network improvements and capabilities are capable of handling emerging and future business requirements.
 Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
 BachelorÂs Degree or equivalent
 5+ years of managing Datacenter teams with similar size and scope
 5+ years working in Sr level technical position supporting similar technology
Required Skills
 Strong background in Datacenter technologies
 Experience with enterprise level data protection solutions
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Power platform.
 AWS, Azure, GCP service knowledge
 Microsoft foundation service knowledge- internal services spanning from infrastructure services such as certificate services, Active Directory, PKI, etc.
 Working knowledge with Teams and other collaboration tools from configuration to lifecycle management and governance.
 Experience in process design and process improvement methods
 Strategic planning abilities in line with business segment and company initiatives
 Strong leadership qualities with the ability to create an engaged and positive work environment
 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
 Strong problem solving, organizational, and time-management skills
 Highly organized and methodical , with meticulous attention to detail
 Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited direction and oversight
 Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and managing change effectively.
 Ability to self-study and engage in independent work to increase job-related knowledge and skills
 Desire to remain up to date with industry trends
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
 Must have strong Microsoft Azure and infrastructure services background.
 AWS and Azure certifications
 After hours or weekend work for service impacting changes or problems
 On call for networking emergencies
 Unique Requirements
 Travel required to training and corporate events, up to 10%
Additional Information
 The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
