About The Role
At the heart of our agency lies the craft of storytelling, and as our scriptwriter, you’ll be the director in this narrative journey. This role transcends mere text on paper - it’s about harnessing raw ideas and translating them into gripping stories tailored for the YouTube audience. You’ll be instrumental in defining the voice of our content creators. Synergizing with our vibrant team and assorted clientele, you’re tasked with birthing narratives that convert general concepts into captivating stories that align with the channels goals.
Responsibilities
• Transform video ideas into clear, engaging, and relatable YouTube scripts
• Create strong, bullet-point video outlines as well as word-for-word scripts that creators can read comfortably on a teleprompter
• Write scripts that match the creator's tone and verbiage
• Ensure all content aligns with the best practices for channel growth and YouTube audience engagement
• Stay updated with YouTube trends, weaving them into the scripts where
• Adapt to different creator script styles and genres, ensuring authenticity and relatability
• Collaborate closely with our creators on scripting sessions to ensure scripts align with their voice and vision
• Update project management software(s) to track script progress
• Guarantee all content is free from copyright infringement
Mandatory Qualifications
• 3+ years of scriptwriting experience, preferably for YouTube or similar positions
• 2+ years of experience using G Suite tools:
• Google Drive
• Google Docs
• Google Calendar
• Proven experience in analyzing YouTube analytics, with a track record of successfully tailoring content based on audience demographics and viewing patterns
• Certification or education in an advanced English proficiency, with a demonstrated ability to adapt writing styles across different genres, as evidenced by a diverse portfolio
• Proven track record of scripts that have led to videos with a strong AVD
• History of scripts leadinv videos that amassed over 100,000 views
Nice-To-Haves
• Agency experience
• Experience using Slack
• Degree, diploma or equivalent in Creative Writing, Journalism, or a related field
• Experience scripting for short-form content - TikTok or Instagram Reels

Salary: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
