Join us and help people live healthier lives while doing your life's best work.(sm) The Sr. Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting a variety of strategic activities utilizing Member Experience data and... performance metrics throughout the enterprise. The Sr. Business Analyst will be accountable for collecting, consolidating, and analyzing data that is defined and owned by various department subject-matter-experts (SMEs) and/or stakeholders, and will create business presentations and visuals with the data. This individual will extract data from various sources to generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions to support and optimize future business decisions. The position provides support through representation of senior leadership interests and in some cases is an active team member on Quality strategy initiatives. This role will manage projects of medium to high complexity. YouÂll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:  Collaborates with stakeholders to identify specific business requirements  Supports the development of Quality programs and initiatives through analyzing, monitoring, and reporting, including data visualization. Serves as a data and program expert for the department  Performs data analysis, gathering and integrating large volumes of data to perform analysis, interpret results, and develop actionable insights and recommendations. Collaborates with various partners to provide a holistic view of the analysis  Develops process flows and standard operating procedures  Creates and utilizes tracking and organizational schematics to ensure projects are on track to meet deadlines  Researches, retrieves, designs, and delivers organized analytics and reporting  Designs, prepares, modifies, and develops selected recurring and ad-hoc reports within given projects  Develops and documents complex business analysis and reporting requirements  Schedules and tracks internal and external meetings, documenting meeting minutes and tracking follow-up/action items  Coordinates a variety of projects/requests simultaneously and ensures timely completion in accordance with business initiatives  Assists with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new reports including dashboards YouÂll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:  BachelorÂs degree or equivalent work experience  4+ years of decision support, data analysis, business analysis, or healthcare operations experience  1+ years of project or program management support  Experience working with CAHPS  Advanced level proficiency in Excel  Proficient in Microsoft Office Program (PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint, and Access) Preferred Qualifications:  Health plan, healthcare or clinic operations experience  Experience working in Medicare CAHPS or Stars Improvement  Experience working remotely  Proven detail-oriented and ability to identify potential risk or problems and find resolution  Demonstrated ability to manage group relationships with diverse geographic locations, skills, and level of understanding of company processes and policy  Proven possession of solid analytical/statistical skills used in evaluating and analyzing data  Proven excellent written and oral skills  Proven excellent presentation skills utilizing data to tell the story  Proven problem solving capabilities resulting in significant business impact and customer satisfaction  Proven effectively operate through complex organizational situations with ability to anticipate obstacles and plan appropriate approach Careers at OptumCare.
