What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Obtain history and vital signs, and document in the electronic medical record system
• Assist in examinations and procedures for patients with providers
• Answer telephone calls and messages promptly
• Monitor labs and X-ray results
• Participate in performance improvement activities and staff trainings
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and the internet
• Knowledgeable of HIPAA standards of privacy and confidentiality
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Associates Degree
• Minimum of two years' experience in health education, patient navigation, and/or health clinic patient assistance field
• Prior healthcare experience
• CMA or RMA certification or willingness to obtain
• Bilingual in Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, and/or Spanish with English
