The Trip Assignment Specialist is primarily responsible for assigning trips to dispatchers and Care Partners on a nightly basis. In addition, the Trip Assignment Specialist will occasionally answer calls and coordinate trips which come in during the evening hours.
• *Responsibilities**
• Assign trips to dispatchers in the Health-E Rides system (approx 700-900 per night)
• Build dispatchers daily schedules with breaks and lunches taken into consideration
• Determine which dispatchers are eligible for certain trips based on the language spoken by the member
• Stack trips to contracted Care Partners
• Answer inbound calls from members during evening hours
• Coordinate evening trips as they come in
• Assist with Care Partner related administrative tasks such as payment processing
• Assist with Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk
• *Requirements**
• Previous experience in dispatching and coordinating transportation
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Consistently reliable and able to work evening shifts
