Position Description XPRIZE is seeking an experienced Team Relations Manager to play an integral role in the successful execution of the XPRIZE Healthspan, a $101 million global competition to revolutionize the way we approach human aging. This person will lead external communications with competing prize teams, partners, and the larger prize community. They will participate in the recruitment of competitive teams and provide ongoing management and support of the teams via various communications tools. They will create content for prize newsletters and prepare and execute webinars in service to the competing teams. This person will also track and maintain data on teams and provide team status reports. They will also liaise with IT on implementation and customization of the Prize Operations Platform (POP) for team recruitment and for continued team engagement. Responsibilities:  Support the development and execution of the team recruitment strategy in coordination with the operations and marketing team to cast a wide net of competitors for the competition  Lead ongoing team and ecosystem relations and management, including outreach and communication strategy  Address complex technical topics and questions related to the XPRIZE Healthspan in collaboration with the team  Maintain internal intelligence on team activities, track milestones, and advise colleagues on media opportunities  Support in content creation of prize newsletter, blogs, and online presentations  Organize internal meetings as well as identify and participate in industry events to drive participation in the prize  Manage teams at events including testing and conferences, etc.  Manage Team Slack channel and other social tools to enhance communication between competitors and XPRIZE  Will support operations team with general project, technical, and event management  Assist in tracking and organizing of inbound public comments as well as team inquiries  Organize internal and external meetings  Manage the prize filing and documentation organization systems  End-to-end support for Prize Operations events (Team Summits, Judge Summits, Conferences, etc.)  Assist with Google-slides presentations and facilitation of meetings where necessary  Assist in identifying risks at each phase of the competition and work with the operations team to develop mitigation plans  Support team recruitment and project management  Conduct outreach to schools and various educational institutions  Lead communication efforts with teams and organize webinars Qualifications:  4-6 years of relevant professional experience managing external communities, project management, competitions, and related projects  BachelorÂs degree required or equivalent relevant experience  Experience building and working with partner organizations, and external communities  Proven experience with community management  Experience managing and customizing technology platforms  Direct experience and knowledge in the domains of healthcare, clinical research, and/or longevity is preferred but not mandatory  Curious, motivated, and interested to learn more about the rapidly expanding world of Healthspan  Ability to lead or co-lead speaking engagements, senior-level meetings, webinars, workshops, etc.  Excellent business and technical writing and professional verbal communication skills  Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and situational awareness  Willingness to travel globally, often for weeks at a time, to testing and industry events as needed  Ability to thrive and think creatively and calmly to problem-solve in highly fluid situations and under intense schedules and deadlines Competencies required for this role:  Action Oriented  Manages Ambiguity  Cross-Functional Collaboration  Communicates Effectively  Customer Focused  Drives Engagement  Global Perspective  Interpersonal Savvy  Builds Networks  Organizational Savvy  Resourcefulness  Situational Adaptability  Instills Trust  Optimizes Work Processes  Manages Conflict  Nimble Learning The anticipated base salary for this position is $80k to $100k and may also qualify for an annual incentive. This role is eligible for our extensive benefits package and generous paid time off including vacation, sick, and holidays. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience for the role, level of education attained, and certifications and/or other licenses held.
