Job Description:Marathon Petroleum is seeking a detail-oriented and confident Live Chat Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This is a part-time, work-from-home position at the Associate Level for an individual with at least 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field...Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service through live chat channels
• Assist customers with product information, pricing, order processing, and general inquiries
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments for resolution
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
• Contribute to a positive and professional working environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery
• Stay up-to-date on company products, services, and promotions
Requirements:
• Resourceful and confident personality traits
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Creativity in problem-solving and handling customer inquiries
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Comfortable working remotely and independently
• Proficient in typing and using live chat software
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience is a plus
