Tax Preparer & Bookkeeper/Accountant - Remote | WFH

Are you a detail-oriented and dedicated tax accountant looking for a rewarding opportunity? We're seeking a full-time Tax Accountant to join our team and contribute to our dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities...
• Prepare individual and business tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
• Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks with precision.
• Utilize Lacerte and QuickBooks for tax preparation and bookkeeping.
• Leverage your intermediate to advanced Excel skills for various accounting tasks.
• Maintain high levels of organization and accuracy in your work.
• Take thorough notes and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Exhibit a high level of integrity and reliability in all tasks.

Qualifications
• 2-5 years of tax preparation experience, including familiarity with Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
• 2-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Lacerte and QuickBooks.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience in payroll is a plus.
• CPA or EA certification is a plus but not required.
• Highly organized, punctual, and willing to work extra hours when needed.
• Inquisitive and quick to learn new skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to work well both individually and in group settings.

Compensation
• Annual salary of $58,000 to $68,000, plus performance bonus.

Work Schedule
• Full-time, with expected hours of no less than 40 per week.
• Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.

Location:
• San Diego, CA 92131. Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
• Remote work options may be available based on need.
