This position is full - time. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am  5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
We offer 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8am to 5pm. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.
 All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth GroupÂs Telecommuter Policy.
Primary Responsibilities:  Responsible for data entry of material from source documents to a computer - connected terminal  May operate an alphabetical / numerical keypunch machine  Verifies data and performs clerical tasks in the data processing function  Examines, revises, approves and dispatches input and output materials according to established specifications  Works on assignments that are semi - routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required  Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments  Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required  Meet productivity standards as outlined in client metrics  Identify any issues or trends and bring them to the attention of management team  Work on special projects as assigned  Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:  High School Diploma / GED  Must be 18 years of age OR older  1 years of data entry experience  Experience with using Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort, filter, and work within tables), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)  Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am  5:00pm.
Preferred Qualifications:  1 years of healthcare experience  Previous experience with utilizing EPIC, Cerner, OR other hospital applications  Medical billing OR claims experience
Telecommuting Requirements: Â Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Â Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Â Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
