Key Responsibilities
 Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple companies.
 Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
 Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
 Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
 Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
 Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts.
 Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
 Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
 Implement and uphold internal controls to protect company assets.
 Help with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
 Provide support for special financial analysis and ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications
 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
 At least 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in the construction services industry.
 Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
 Experience with owner financial reporting is a plus.
 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
 High attention to detail and accuracy.
