Required immediately, our local Kent branch is seeking a TEAM of LONG HAUL TRUCK DRIVERS. This is a full time position (Monday thru Thursday) that will be mostly local driving with some long haul driving to Canada.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for transporting countertops to and from branches and suppliers in accordance with their set route. This could include locations inside and outside Canada or the United States.

Desired Skills & Experience:
• Must have and maintain Current Class A commercial driver's license and be forklift certified
• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 1-2 years of experience of long-haul driving
• 1 year of experience with step deck, double drop or flatbed freight required
• Knowledge of highway and road regulations
• Current Passport and able to travel between the US and Canada
• Valid work permit
• Ability to operate a Forklift
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to lift 100lbs assisted
• Able to drive for long extensive periods of time
• Must have a clean driving record and a clear criminal record

Duties and Responsibilities: • Safely operates flatbed, semi-truck to transport countertops in a long-haul setting • Follows set trip route and reports on location as required • Sets route schedule 4 days on 3 days off • Safely operates a forklift, certification is a must • Loads and unloads cargo • Records cargo deliveries • Refuels and cleans vehicle to maintain proper maintenance and housekeeping standards in vehicle • Reports road incidents to supervisor • Follows traffic laws • Follows accident procedures if necessary • Maintains all paperwork associated with trips and turnover to supervisor at end of shift • Reports mechanical problems to maintenance personnel • Plans routes using GPS system • Maintains a positive attitude with customers • Commercial driver’s license must be kept up to date at all times • Regular out-of-town and overnight travel throughout Canada and USA • Other duties as assigned FLOFORM is proud to offer the successful candidate: • COMPETITIVE WAGES Starting at $103,000 • Driving school reimbursement available- based on safe, successful driving performance • Monthly phone allowance • Medical/RX/Dental/Vision benefits • Company paid Life/ADD insurance • Company paid EAP plan • Medical and Dependent FSA plan • Opportunity to participate in the company 401k plan
