Humana hiring! The Inbound Contacts Representative is responsible for addressing incoming telephone, digital, or written inquiries in a high-volume healthcare Contact Center supporting primary care medical centers. This full-time role ensures accurate and timely processing of requests, including scheduling appointments, taking messages, and transferring calls.

Essential Functions...
• Accurately process all requests and take appropriate actions such as scheduling appointments, taking messages, and transferring calls.
• Resolve patient issues independently with a goal of first-call resolution.

Required Qualifications
• Strong customer service skills with excellent written and oral communication.
• Active listening skills with a high degree of empathy.
• Ability to remain calm and helpful when dealing with upset patients.
• Patient-centric mindset and urgency in solving patient requests.
• Knowledge of basic help desk software, computer software, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, speak).
• Minimum of one year of experience in an inbound customer service call center.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle high call volume and multitask while providing exceptional customer experience.
• Experience with E-Clinical Works or other electronic medical records systems (Epic, Athena Health, NextGen).
• Familiarity with virtual contact center solutions (8×8, Genesys, Ring Central, Five/9, etc.).
• Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA.

Work Hours
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Work-At-Home Requirements
• Internet service must meet a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• Approved satellite, cellular, and microwave connections may be used.
• Employees in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive a bi-weekly payment for internet expenses.
• Humana provides necessary telephone equipment.
• Work from a dedicated, interruption-free space to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.

Compensation
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
• Pay Range: $34,500 – $47,400 per year (based on location, skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc
