As an Enrollment and Eligibility Representative, you will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, processing, and maintaining new member(s) / group enrollment information. Position in this function is responsible for preparing, processing and maintaining new member or group enrollments. Position may load new member or group data into the enrollment database & update the database with changes. Position may also respond to member eligibility or group questions & verify enrollment status. Position may work with various types of member correspondence. Position may also be responsible for reconciling eligibility discrepancies, analyzing transactional data &submitting retroactive eligibility changes. Position may also be responsible for inventory control of member and group transactions.
This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 7 weeks of paid training. The hours of training will be based on your schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.

Required Qualifications:  High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience  1 years of experience in an office setting environment using the computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties  Computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and strong mouse and keyboarding skills  Flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need  Must be 18 years old OR older  Availability to work 40 hours / week within the operating hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
Telecommuting Requirements: Â Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Â Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Â Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
