Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role requires a customer-focused individual who excels in data entry, scheduling, and shipment tracking. The ideal candidate will be organized, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with various team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Â Customer Service: Â Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive relationship with clients and partners. Â Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and any changes or delays. Â Data Entry: Â Accurately enter and maintain customer and shipment data into the companyÂs database and software systems. Â Ensure data integrity by verifying and correcting any discrepancies in the information provided. Â Scheduling: Â Coordinate and schedule pickups and deliveries to optimize efficiency and meet customer requirements. Â Work closely with drivers and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate scheduling. Â Shipment Tracking: Â Monitor and track shipments from origin to destination, providing real-time updates to customers as needed. Â Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to shipment delays or disruptions. Â Cross-Functional Collaboration: Â Collaborate with other departments such as dispatch, logistics, and warehouse teams to streamline operations and address any operational challenges. Â Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements and problem-solving initiatives. Â Organization and Punctuality: Â Demonstrate strong organizational skills by managing multiple tasks and prioritizing responsibilities effectively. Â Arrive on-time and adhere to scheduled work hours to ensure reliability and consistency in performance. Â Work Ethic: Â Exhibit a strong work ethic by being proactive, dependable, and committed to achieving high standards of performance. Qualifications: Â Bachelor Degree; additional education or certifications in customer service or logistics is a plus. Â 2+ years in customer service, preferably within the trucking or logistics industry. Â Proficiency in data entry and working with databases or CRM systems. Â Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Â Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Â Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Â Reliable and punctual with a solid work ethic and commitment to excellence.
