Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role requires a customer-focused individual who excels in data entry, scheduling, and shipment tracking. The ideal candidate will be organized, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with various team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities: • Customer Service: • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive relationship with clients and partners. • Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and any changes or delays. • Data Entry: • Accurately enter and maintain customer and shipment data into the company’s database and software systems. • Ensure data integrity by verifying and correcting any discrepancies in the information provided. • Scheduling: • Coordinate and schedule pickups and deliveries to optimize efficiency and meet customer requirements. • Work closely with drivers and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate scheduling. • Shipment Tracking: • Monitor and track shipments from origin to destination, providing real-time updates to customers as needed. • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to shipment delays or disruptions. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Collaborate with other departments such as dispatch, logistics, and warehouse teams to streamline operations and address any operational challenges. • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements and problem-solving initiatives. • Organization and Punctuality: • Demonstrate strong organizational skills by managing multiple tasks and prioritizing responsibilities effectively. • Arrive on-time and adhere to scheduled work hours to ensure reliability and consistency in performance. • Work Ethic: • Exhibit a strong work ethic by being proactive, dependable, and committed to achieving high standards of performance. • Uphold company values and contribute positively to the team environment.

Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree; additional education or certifications in customer service or logistics is a plus. • 2+ years in customer service, preferably within the trucking or logistics industry. • Proficiency in data entry and working with databases or CRM systems. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Reliable and punctual with a solid work ethic and commitment to excellence.
