Sr. Director, Customer Growth Business Development
Posted 2025-04-06The Sr. Director, Customer Growth Business Development role is a new position that will provide strategic leadership within the FSOP Business Development Center of Excellence. This team will secure new business, drive new category growth and play a key role in successfully managing our continued pipeline of renewals through building content, effective stewardship materials and other commercial... tools. As a newly formed Business Development COE, weÂre looking for individuals who are solution oriented and comfortable with Âwhite space. The ideal candidate will find opportunities to make progress and create value, even when the path forward is not clear.
This position will serve as the strategic bridge between Coca-Cola and our potential/existing customers and their guests, representing the perspective/voice of customers in how Coca-Cola brands and capabilities can best serve their needs.
Location: Atlanta preferred, other Eastern or Central time zones will be considered
What You'll Do for Us
 Lead all growth/customer marketing related activities for the new Business Development COE
 Build strategic relationships with C-Suite marketing executives at top customers in the Code 10 pipeline
 Serve as team lead with internal stakeholders to secure support for Business Development project needs (i.e. Insights, Digital, Brand, Assets, Commercial, etc.)
 Support strategic development of customer stewardship materials to provide improved support of Code 10 & Code 5 efforts being led by other FSOP customer teams (i.e. Why Coke Evolution, Value Bundle, Code 5/10 Playbook, Bev. Consultant Playbook, etc.)
 Provide customer insights to brand, integrated marketing, innovation and strategy teams, and identify when additional customer marketing research may be required to position us to win new business or retain existing customers
 Identify key trends and gaps within our value bundle (i.e. food/bev pairings), and connect with internal subject matter experts to develop solutions & commercialize best practices
 Create a communication plan for internal senior leaders that stewards Code 10 and Code 5 marketing strategies using various tools to gain alignment (e.g., newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, face-to-face meetings, video conferencing, etc.)
 Build impactful relationships through Industry engagements
Qualification & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Related Work Experience:
10+ years in marketing, agency or equivalent years of CPG experience, preferably with background/experience working with Foodservice customers.
Functional Skills:
 Customer Marketing or Shopper Marketing experience, ideally within FSOP
 Demonstrated ability to develop unique and compelling beverage partnership strategies, preferably with Code 10 customers
 Strong communication & influencing skills
 Comfortable leading through complex, long-term projects
 Strong problem-solving skills, solution orientation
 Thrive in ambiguity
 Planning and organizing
 Capable of leading through change
 Fast and agile learner
Travel - Approximately 20-30%
