We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Remote Certified Pharmacy Technician to support a dynamic healthcare startup over a 6-month contract-to-permanent assignment. In this pivotal role, you will be guided by a Pharmacist Team Lead and the Head of Operations, playing a critical part in the healthcare process. Your main focus will be on making outbound calls to patients, healthcare... providers, and pharmacies to engage with patient cases identified through advanced risk stratification algorithms. Your direct involvement is essential in helping to ensure patients receive the necessary care and support.
Your interventions will involve obtaining and accurately recording health information and contact details, scheduling appointments, troubleshooting medication-related issues, and proactively engaging with patients to deliver top-notch support. In addition, you will manage inbound customer support requests, prepare and send letters, and execute other assigned duties as needed to maintain operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.

 Bilingual in English and Spanish for effective communication
 Experience handling 40-50+ adherence-related calls per day
 Understanding of basic medical terminology and familiarity with medication names (both brand and generic)
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
 Ability to work collaboratively as a team player while also being self-sufficient
 Availability for a 40-hour work week (Monday-Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM Pacific Time)
Responsibilities
 Make outbound calls to patients, providers, and pharmacies for targeted case interventions
 Obtain and accurately record health and contact information
 Schedule necessary appointments and resolve any medication-related issues
 Actively engage with patients, providing them with support and assistance
 Manage inbound customer support requests and prepare relevant correspondence
Qualifications
 Must hold a current Certified Pharmacy Technician credential
 Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential
 Proven experience managing a high volume of adherence-related calls per day
 Strong understanding of basic medical terminology and medication names (both brand and generic)
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
 Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace applications
 Must be a collaborative team player, able to work independently when required
 Availability to work a full-time schedule, 40 hours per week, across weekdays and weekends
Education Requirements
 High school diploma or equivalent required
 Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program is preferred
Education Requirements Credential Category
 Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required
Experience Requirements
 Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is strongly preferred
 Previous remote work experience would be advantageous
