COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
 Salary: Starting salary of $36,500 per year, with the possibility of increase based on experience and performance evaluations.

SKILLS:
 Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

 Fluency in Spanish is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assist clients falling under our CompanyÂs set priorities with appropriate attorney supervision  Provide paraprofessional legal services in civil, family, and other cases, adhering to program guidelines and under attorney supervision  Engage in outreach and community legal education initiatives  Conduct intake, screening, and referral processes  Investigate and develop assigned cases and projects, including conducting interviews  Draft legal documents and correspondence  Maintain accurate case records and files  Develop specialized skills and knowledge in assigned areas  Provide translation assistance if applicable  Participate in training programs, staff meetings, and activities  Report caseload statistics and advocacy activities  Travel as required for job responsibilities  Stay updated on changes in the law affecting our CompanyÂs client population  Make referrals to social service agencies and other relevant resources  Represent clients at hearings
QUALIFICATIONS:  AssociateÂs Degree and paralegal certification preferred  Previous experience in legal services or public interest preferred  Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated  Strong communication skills  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite  Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and integrity  Fluency in Spanish preferred  Willingness to engage in occasional work-related travel  Excellent attendance record
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:  AssociateÂs Degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred  Paralegal certification from an accredited program preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:  Previous experience in legal services or public interest is preferred  Experience conducting client intake, interviews, and case management is a plus
