Pay Range: $20.59 - 27.40 hourly
Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
As NFMÂs Transportation Specialist II you are responsible for administrative collaboration within the Inbound Transportation department including, but is not limited to, vendor/carrier training, ensuring all purchase orders reflect accurate arrival dates at NFM. This position will have a focus on international logistic management solutions and support the Transportation teams with administrative tasks and reports. This is a remote position requiring the candidate to reside in one of the following states: NE, IA, MO, KS or TX.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
 Monitor Analyze carrier general rate increases, vendor and carrier compliance, vendor, and carrier performance
 Manage Convey P.O. information to merchandiser (i.e., production delay, fabric delay, discontinued
 Plan Schedule and facilitate onboarding for new vendors and/or carriers on NFM processes and software
 Assist Serve as point of contact between supply chain and other divisions to solve transportation service issues
 Collaborate With the planning team to execute resolutions for load and merchandise problems

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?  High School Diploma or GED  3 years of experience in transportation management solutions and vendor/carrier relations  3 years of experience working with international distribution vendors, international freight carriers, consolidation partners etc  Proficient computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Applications with intermediate level knowledge of Excel including but not limited to data formulas, queries, pivot tables  Ability to enter data quickly and accurately  Pre-employment screening includes, but isnÂt limited to, criminal background check
