What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Perform actuarial tasks that involve mathematical and quantitative analysis
• Analyze hospital, professional, and drug claim/utilization trends, along with demographic data
• Complete pricing analysis, financial projections, and other actuarial calculations
• Develop and implement analyses for special projects and ensure quality deliverables
• Provide technical and analytical support for the actuarial department

What Is Required (Qualifications)
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related finance/business degree
• 3 - 5+ years of relevant professional work experience and/or education
• Progress toward obtaining actuarial credentials, including sitting for a minimum of one exam per year
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in SQL, R, Python, or similar programming languages

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Actuarial/analytical experience in a healthcare environment
• Experience with data extraction, simulations, and automation techniques
