Clinical Intake Coordinator - Remote

Schedule: Full-time; majority of hours on weekdays between 12 PM to 6 PM PST, with possible hours from 8 AM to 12 PM, evenings, and weekends PST.

Our client is dedicated to quality and ethical mental health services. They are looking for a Licensed Clinical Intake Coordinator who is passionate about their career in mental health, skilled in Medicaid diagnosis and treatment planning, and enjoys conducting intakes and documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Â Client Screening & Assessment: Conduct initial screenings to evaluate clients' issues, functioning, and history to determine the appropriate care and provider. Â Provider Matching: Pair clients with the right provider based on their needs and urgency. Â Crisis Management: Identify clients at risk or needing emergency services, and refer them to community and crisis resources as needed. Â Paperwork & Documentation: Manage all paperwork for setting up care, create and maintain intake process documentation, and handle client information efficiently in EHR and Google platforms. Â Scheduling: Arrange appointments for new clients with our providers, both in-person and virtual. Â Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA, federal, and state regulations, and participate in required training and meetings. Â Cultural Competency: Continuously improve cultural sensitivity and awareness.
Requirements: Â Licensure: Must be licensed in Oregon as an LCSW, LMFT, or similar (no QMHP or QMHAs) or able to obtain it post-hire. Â Experience: At least five years post-licensure experience, including three years of Medicaid intake experience. Â Skills: Strong clinical judgment, ability to type 60+ wpm, and experience with EHR systems, completing brief psychosocial assessments, authorizing MH outpatient services for Medicaid, and S.M.A.R.T. treatment planning. Â Additional: Ethical standards with no unresolved board complaints, detail-oriented, and able to manage time efficiently. Â Abilities: Create rapport quickly, ability to determine initial diagnosis, assess for level of care, and manage time efficiently.
