DisneyÂs Card Services team develops and holistically manages complex, long-term, multi-dimensional relationships with select vendors and third party retailers. Card Services is dedicated to driving incremental value for TWDC and its Partners through development of innovative marketing and payment programs, management of partner and business unit relationships, and creation of new relationships aligned with TWDCÂs businesses and strategic goals.
The Senior Manager, Card Services ensures that DGCS and C3 businesses are executed at the highest level from both a creative and professional relationship perspective. Senior Manager is expected to navigate between partner objectives and the objectives of internal stakeholders (i.e., Studios, Parks and Resorts, Disney Marketing, etc.) to shepherd best-in-class marketing and sales support for TWDCÂs branded currencies.
Responsibilities:  Marketing Plan  Develop annual plans e.g. holiday campaign as well as ongoing opportunities. Create and oversee brand awareness tactics on and off property; champion online ads on O&O sites (WDW.com and DLR.com) to drive traffic to shop Disney sales channel.  Third-Party Sales Channel Management ÂDevelop and manage Retail both internally (owned-and-operated and Disney Store) and externally (grocery, big box, drug, etc. via Blackhawk and Incomm) in the US, Canada and beyond for the core Disney Gift Card (DGC) product as well as expansion projects (Disney+, Hulu, etc.)  Determine expansion recommendations/decisions for new partners.  Assess current partner sales performance and seek ways to maximize returns; assess promotional programs; and ensure contractual obligations are met e.g. in-store placements, program executions, etc.  Maximize placement in current and future partner locations e.g. additional peg space, improved placement on fixture, etc.  Collaborate with Operations on third-party packaging strategy to enhance product position.  Promotional Channel Management  Strengthen relationships and develop new opportunities within TWDC (e.g. Corporate Alliance partners) and third-party partners  promotions/sweepstakes; cross-merchandise/cross-promote across key categories and more.  Creative Development, Product Development, POS/Collateral  Direct card art design/direction e.g. seasonal, synergy, Disney Store/shopDisney.com, etc. Lead DGCS branding guidelines. Employ various resources to develop creative internally, including partnering with Alliance Promotions team, and externally (agency of record). Lead/direct creative development of internal and external POS, and collateral projects as needed including design and copywriting as needed. Ensure all projects are vetted through Corporate Brand/Franchise, OPA, Promotions Approval System (PAS - as applicable), etc.  Marketing Support  Acquisition ÂLead implementation of various on-property tactics and/or high affinity tactics for DCL, DVC, Passholders and WDW overall.  Marketing Support  Retention  Lead and/or support implementation of various tactics e.g. Cardmember newsletters (content and offers); multiple resort offers via direct mail and email; social media content (e.g. blog posts), etc. Partner on annual renewal of benefits for Cardmembers  Lead, train, develop and manage a team of managers to execute domestic & international marketing programs  Work independently to develop plans and objectives for direct reports, prioritize requests, and make trade-off decisions/ recommendations based on resource availability/constraints  Engage in daily contact with partners and Disney teams across the globe, collaborating on creative ways to promote upcoming company priorities  Route creative submitted by partners to internal teams and craft feedback as needed  Manage execution of contractual deliverables, which can span multiple lines of business and supervise executions led by direct reports
Basic Qualifications:  7+ years Marketing and Sales/Account Management  Proficiency in Microsoft Office  Strong account & project management skills  Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills  Be detail and solution-oriented  Ability to communicate in a persuasive and collaborative style  Ability to manage and influence multiple projects simultaneously  Ability to prioritize and multitask with competing interests  Ability to build, maintain and foster relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partner brands & agencies  Experience working under pressure to meet tight deadlines  Ability to respond calmly and quickly to shifting priorities and timelines  Possess a collaborative and creative mindset  Heavy knowledge of IP and storytelling across TWDC portfolio  Experience in Retail businesses
Preferred Qualifications:  Working knowledge of financial payments and/or prepaid financial instruments  Management experience  Experience working with and negotiating external Contracts and Vendor agreements
Educations:
 BachelorÂs degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications or Advertising
