Our established client has an immediate need for a full-time Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of maintenance work on heating systems, electrical systems, machines, hydraulics, refrigeration, and other facilities maintenance as required
This position pays $25 -$30 per hour.
Maintenance Technician Shift:
3rd shift
Sun-Thurs, 10:30pm-7am
8-10 hours of OT
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:  Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.  Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.  Removes defective parts by dismantling devices... using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.  Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.  Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.  Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.  Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.  Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. Maintenance Technician Qualifications:  Ability to work independently, exhibit the ability to solve problems without assistance and demonstrate effective communication skills both verbal and written  Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics  Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.  Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose all electrical problems  Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check  High School Diploma or GED, with above-average mechanical ability

- $25-34/hr, depending on experience
- $1.50/hr shift differential
