Senior Satellite Ground Segment Architect

Description:
• BlackSky is a real-time intelligence company providing satellite imagery and analytics
• Seeking an experienced Satellite Ground Segment Architect to design and maintain the organization’s architecture
• Collaborate with technical and business leaders across BlackSky offices

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience • At least seven (7) years of relevant experience with three (3) years’ experience in the remote sensing industry • Strong knowledge of satellite ground system architectures and design of satellite ground systems • Demonstrated understanding of interfaces, system specifications and capability requirements • Previous experience defining and documenting system Concepts of Operations, functional requirements, and performance requirements • Able to facilitate technical coordination between engineering teams to articulate technical... issues across the components of an architecture • Must be a US-born citizen
