Company Overview: This dynamic, forward-thinking company dedicated to IT & Engineering is currently seeking a highly motivated HR Specialist to join the Human Resources team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting HR functions and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Position Overview: As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for tasks ranging from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Responsibilities: Â Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting initial interviews. Facilitate new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Â Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and workplace issues. Address and resolve employee concerns in a timely and confidential manner. Â Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes. Â HR Compliance: Stay updated on employment laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and practices comply with legal requirements. Assist in developing and updating HR policies as needed. Â Performance Management: Support performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and development plans. Provide guidance to employees and managers on performance-related matters. Â HR Reporting: Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to assess trends, turnover, and other key HR indicators. Provide insights and recommendations to improve HR processes. Â Training and Development: Coordinate training initiatives, workshops, and employee development programs to enhance skills and promote a culture of continuous learning. Â Employee Engagement: Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Organize events and activities that foster a positive workplace culture. Qualifications: Â Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Â years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR generalist functions. Â Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Â Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Â Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite. Â Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Â HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
