Overview
A multi-firm Consultant is seeking a partner/sub-consultant to join his growing dynamic team.

Due to increasing enquiries in Family law, the Consultant requires a dedicated experienced lawyer to better service his client base.

This role would be suitable for, but not limited to, the following people:
• Retired/semi-retired practitioners looking for consultancy work on a part-time/ad hoc basis.
• Existing consultants looking for additional work.
• Experienced solicitors/qualified lawyers (minimum 5 years PQE) without client following looking to become a consultant.

Hours and location: Fully flexible and work from home

Remuneration: Fee-sharing or fixed fee per case (negotiable).

Duties
• Provide legal advice and representation in family law matters, including divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, and property settlements.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes.
•... Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and agreements with precision and attention to detail.
• Attend court hearings and represent clients in front of judges and magistrates.
• Conduct thorough research on relevant laws and case precedents to support client cases.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers or financial advisors, when necessary to provide comprehensive support to clients.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards while managing sensitive client information with confidentiality.

Qualifications
• Qualified solicitor or barrister with a valid practising certificate in family law.
• Proven experience in handling family law cases with a successful track record.
• Strong negotiation skills, demonstrating the ability to resolve disputes amicably when possible.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in all aspects of legal work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Empathy and understanding towards clients facing challenging personal circumstances.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £30,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
