Summary of the Role:
This is not a Financial Advisor role and you are not providing financial advice.
In this role, you are providing financial education to the employees of our clients and regarding their 401(k), 403(b) and other retirement plans. The Financial Coach will provide the employees with education of the plans and their options and leverage our proprietary financial wellness platform, WellCents, to help employees... and create relationships and opportunities for referrals to our wealth management team of advisors. You will conduct group and individual financial education meetings. As the Financial Coach, you will be responsible for increasing employee participation, increasing employee deferrals elections and providing investment education.
Training and administrative support will be provided. Prior experience in financial/wealth services is not required. This is a full-time role offering the flexibility of a remote schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in growing a career in advisory services. You should have a great comfort with public speaking, educating and teaching or providing instructions/guidance. Travel may consist of 15-20% of your time. You must have the ability to travel within your assigned territory as well out of state (some same-day and some overnight stays).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Strong communication skills and comfort with public speaking, coaching and providing education are required  Conduct group and individual employee financial education meetings in person and virtually  Serve as the primary point of contact and lead financial education for plan participants  Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent service. Actively interact with clients and their employees to ensure delivery of service expectations  Cross-sell all lines of business and services available at NFP  Prepare for meetings in advance and ensure follow-up and execution of deliverables following the meetings  Consult with NFP's internal ERISA teams to ensure proper compliance regarding all client matters  Provide prompt correspondence and ensure questions or issues are resolved in an accurate and timely manner  Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
 Must be able to commute/drive within assigned territory as well as be able to travel (plane/train) out of state aprox 20% of time
 Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
 Building and managing client relationships; Retirement plan knowledge preferred
 Excellent written communication skills - writes clearly; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numeric data effectively; able to read and interpret written information
 Be a self-starter and have the ability to make sound independent decisions
 Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people/personalities
 Strong leadership and coaching skills
 Possess technical expertise plus good analytical and problem-solving skills
 Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner
 Strong attention to detail, decision-making skills and problem resolution
Education and/or Experience:
 College degree or related experience is preferred
 Spanish language fluency is preferred
 Experience in corporate roles, sales, teaching/instructional, project management, admin/ops is preferred

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $125,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
