Role Overview
The Splendid Marketing team is seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media & Influencer Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The individual in this role will support our Senior Social Media Manager and assist with 360 marketing projects. This role will be responsible for overseeing the execution of influencer campaigns from gifting to partnerships, as well as supporting social marketing projects, photoshoots, and activations.
This role requires an understanding of social media management, content creation, the influencer industry and social media trends. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and is passionate about social media, detail-oriented, a self-starter, able to juggle and meet multiple project deadlines, and willing to be very hands-on.
Key Responsibilities:
Influencer Partnerships
 Support Social Media Manager with influencer relations, acting as direct brand liaison between brand and brand partners
 Daily project management of all partnership tasks to ensure deadlines are met, regular updates communicated
 Execute influencer campaigns needs from contract negotiation to packing/shipping, day-to-day communications, creative briefs, content and post approvals
 Oversee monthly gifting projects including submitting orders, tracking, packing/shipping at our Los Angeles headquarters
 Able to problem solve, pivot, and regularly collaborate with Social Media Manager to analyze data, brainstorm strategies, and ideate creative solutions
 Identify new talent for both earned and paid opportunities through manual discovery
 Write and ideate email copy for influencer outreach
 Create assets, or submit requests for creative assets
 Organize and manage a digital content library
 Process invoices and expense reports
 Budget facilitation on a project level, requesting quotes and negotiating contract details
 Able to work individually as well as cross-collaborate with external and internal team members on social content calendar and influencer marketing needs
 Take lead on securing approvals from key internal stakeholders for all brand and partner assets
 Weekly and monthly reporting
 Monitor, track, and report on influencer campaign KPIs
 Organize & assist with marketing sample organization as needed
Community & Influencer Engagement
 Engage (like/comment/interact) daily with brandÂs social media posts, stories, mentions and comments
 Daily scanning and reporting of organic and earned social media placements
 Raise priority customer support inquiries to the customer support team
 Resolving general customer support inquiries
 Flag, address, respond to talent and partnership inquiries
?Social Marketing Support
 Assist Social Media Manager with department project management
 Source vendors, place orders, and coordinate deliveries of marketing materials and items
 Hands-on support for photoshoots. Tasks can include steaming, organizing marketing samples, checking in inventory, organizing shortlist, content creation day-of, overseeing team craft orders, and pulling/sourcing props and marketing samples
 On location support for social media activations and events. Tasks can include picking up props/materials, creating signage for activations, face-to-face interaction with customers/community during social events.
 Event coordination support as needed
Requirements
 2+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing or similar role with a track record of collaborating with a team to bring projects to life in the digital space.
 BachelorÂs degree in public relations, marketing or similar field
 Strong passion for social media and influencers, well-informed on industry trends.
 Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
 A proactive self-starter and ability to adjust quickly when needed.
 Creative thinker with the ability to brainstorm and contribute fresh ideas to campaigns
 Basic understanding of data analytics and reporting.
 Thrives in a fast-paced environment
 Proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools
 Hands-on doer with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
 Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Asana, Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva is a must
 Able to work on-site in downtown Los Angeles, CA office 3-5x a week and must have reliable transportation to travel in the Greater Los Angeles area as needed
 Customer service experience is great, however not required
CALIFORNIA PAY RATE: $50,000 - $60,000
