Position Summary
EPS Learning is seeking an innovative and strategic Head of Marketing to craft high-impact, data-driven marketing campaigns that engage key decision-makers in schools and districts. In this role, you'll design and deliver multi-channel strategies that fuel demand and strengthen our brand, both pre- and post-sale. With 75% of your focus on demand generation and 25% on brand-building initiatives, this role is perfect for a marketing visionary who thrives on results and is passionate about making an impact in education. The Head of Marketing will report directly to our Chief Product Officer, who oversees both the product and marketing teams, providing strategic leadership and ensuring cohesive collaboration across both functions.
As a demand focused marketing leader, you'll orchestrate programs to support four key go-to-market motions:
 Amplify our reach in districts where EPS is already a staple.
 Drive perpetual demand for our flagship literacy solutions in new, untapped territories.
 Accelerate growth with school-level leaders in targeted states.
 Cultivate deeper connections and renewals with our loyal customers.
Responsibilities
 Demand Marketing Programs Leadership
 Oversee the development, operation and optimization of EPSÂs content-driven perpetual demand engine.
 Manage literacy evangelism and thought leadership programs  collaborating with the Chief Academic Officer and Chief Product Officer for EPS.
 Manage digital engagement portfolio and programs  including search optimization and paid media  to drive top-of-funnel acquisition.
 Manage field marketing programs  targeting district leaders in undeveloped states  to drive both engagement and nurturing of key stakeholders.
 Manage demand experience (DX) across EPS website and e-commerce interface.
 Oversee the design and optimization of core models for automated nurturing logic flow, lead qualification stages, progressive profiling and lead scoring.
 Collaborate with GTM operations and leadership team to ensure tech stack alignment to demand programs.
 Deliver industry best-practice KPI reporting and insights on demand marketing programs performance to the EPS Learning executive team and board of directors.
 Brand Marketing Programs Ownership
 Own and manage the EPS Learning and solution brand architecture, identity and purpose.
 Drive positioning strategy for EPS brand and sub-brands.
 Manage brand awareness programs within Âdeveloped states, districts and schools, where EPS has strong, existing solution coverage.
 Strategic Marketing Leadership
 Develop strategic plans and models for marketing programs and processes that drive deliver continuous stewardship of literacy programs stakeholders and that move these stakeholders through thoughtful, planned engagement, nurturing and conversion stages.
 Collaborate with other executive team members to drive successful go-to-market programs planning and execution for EPS Learning, resulting in net-lift to pipeline and income.
 Serve as an internal thought leader on demand marketing best practices.
 Lead and foster a high-performing, collaborative marketing team that thrives on creativity and data-driven insights.
Qualifications
 Passion for education, literacy and reading intervention a must
 Direct experience with enterprise-grade marketing automation technology, such as Eloqua, Hubspot and/or Marketo
 Experience building and leading teams in a marketing and/or sales environment
 Facility with closed-loop demand and brand program performance KPIs
 BachelorÂs Degree required; MasterÂs Degree in a business, marketing or operations discipline preferred
 Experience developing and presenting strategic marketing plans to executive team members and board members
 Past experience with Perpetual Demand Marketing and with building/managing an end-to-end Demand Process
 Strong experience as a B2B marketer/demand marketing leader in a digital marketing environment, including experience managing sales and marketing alignment within an B2B Âcomplex sale environment
 Traveling 35% -- primarily to the EPS Learning headquarters in Bethesda, MD and/or to EPS Learning field events
