Job Summary...

The Sales Engineer is a professional who supports IPConfigure's Sales and Engineering groups in selling technology solutions to prospects and existing customers. They possess technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a track record in supporting the sales of complex enterprise solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background with a keen ability to lead customer engagements, and possess an understanding of the video surveillance industry.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions.
• Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
• Manage the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a seamless transition to the IPConfigure platform.
• Maintain IPConfigure sales demo infrastructure and equipment.
• Effectively communicate customer needs among both sales and engineering.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
• Analytic and problem-solving skills.
• IT and networking experience.
• Knowledge of video surveillance industry and technology is a plus.
• Willingness to travel.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in technical field, or business with significant technical experience
• 3 years of experience in the software industry
