ITS Project Manager

 This position directs ITS Project Management efforts to successfully implement change in timely and efficient manner.
 Incumbent will manage highly complex IT projects, establishing and directing efforts of the project team.
 Provide project management expertise, leading various highly complex projects.
 Meet with business unit leadership and stakeholders to review project requirements and specifications.
 Manage projects utilizing IT project management standards and methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
 Ensure projects are completed within established time and budget schedules.
 Monitor the progress of all change events and assist in the resolution of issues and delays impacting the successful conclusion of the project.
Requirements:  BachelorÂs degree in Systems, Business Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.  PMP certification preferred.  Five (5) years related project management experience required.  Experience in... systems or financial services environment, card payments, banking, contact center, new product development, information technology or process re-engineering preferred.  Experience with IT projects and working with IT teams in the financial industry preferred.  Experience with managing large scale technology projects (software/hardware)  Ability to manage multiple assignments, work in fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines  Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to gain consensus through mediation, find innovative solutions to challenges, and identify issues and provide potential solutions  Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats and give presentations utilizing various audiovisual support aids  Possess strong leadership and problem solving skills and have the ability to negotiate with and influence others across all organizational levels  Demonstrate excellent analytical and quantitative skills  Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in making decisions  Proficiency in project management, Microsoft Project, Visio, word processing, and spreadsheet computer software applications  Ability to maintain composure and focus in difficult situations; effectively resolve conflicts and resolve issues without emotion  Experience with project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall  Ability to travel as needed, less than 25%
