Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Pricing, this role will be responsible for driving pricing guidance and strategy for Dentsply Sirona (DS), within its North American commercial organization. She or he will:
 Execute the teamÂs process-based approach to developing price guidance for assigned lines of business, including process development, threshold development, pricing grids, stakeholder alignment, testing, and piloting.
 Coordinate the annual price & contract review process for assigned Product Group(s)
 Work with Brand, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other boundary partners to craft and evaluate pricing strategies and initiatives
 Provide pricing insights for approvals in complex negotiations, setting up price bundles, and promotions.
 Work with Brand Managers to develop strategically sound pricing and promotion initiatives.
 Identify areas to improve profitability through pricing, value delivery, and value capture
 Monitor pricing intelligence, workflows, and processes to drive insights and strategies that increase profitability.
 Monitor trends in product and sales price performance. Track accountabilities and interpret trending and analyses to provide strategic and execution recommendations, amend guidance, etc.
 Supply insights and relevant content for regular pricing reviews for the NAM CCO, assessing prior pricing decisions and assisting product and brand teams with pricing insights.
 Support development, implementation, and maintenance of a NAM Pricing Playbook(s) in collaboration with Sales, Brand Marketing, and other partners.
 Maintain a view of the competitive market and customer / patient engagement trends through a structured process involving global product and commercial partners
 Engage with brand managers and other commercial stakeholders to enhance a culture of data-driven rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement through a commitment to a data  analysis  discussion  trial  insight  re-trial  decision  rollout  refinement approach
Technical Responsibilities
 Aid in business strategy planning
 Build commercial frameworks for pilots and related commercial innovation approach
 Support budgeting and forecasting processes with inputs on pricing KPIs, market conditions, and strategy implications
 Create pricing models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
 Analyze complex and challenging data from multiple sources to provide actionable and timely pricing recommendations to management for decision making purposes
 Analyze & propose pricing strategies, monitor progress of opportunities for price improvement and continuous price optimization
 Help define pricing and promotion KPIs, evaluate and review market and competitive data
 Provide ad-hoc support for analysis, reporting and pricing tool/system development
Other Responsibilities
 Interface with cross-functional partners and Senior Management teams on pricing strategy development
 Instill culture, discipline, behavior, and supporting processes to foster an environment of ideation, testing, analysis, and refinement
 Provides data driven recommendations to manager resulting from appropriate analytics, reporting, and insights
 Maintain effective communication and coordination with all Commercial + Product Group pillar teams as well as Corporate PillarÂs Finance, Accounting, and Strategy teams to ensure proper alignment and application of strategic decisions
 Coordinate with operational groups such as Sales, Marketing, HR, IT, Finance, Sales Administration and Professional Services on cross-functional projects as necessary
 Engage with legal and compliance functions to ensure that pilots comply with relevant federal, state, and local regulations
 Evaluate current business practices and make recommendations for process improvements
 Develops/builds positive business relationships with customers (internal and external) on a daily basis
Education
 BachelorÂs degree or equivalent from an accredited institution required; leading programs preferred
 MBA or similarly quantitative masterÂs degree from a leading institution greatly preferred
 PPS Certification preferred (Professional Pricing Society)
Years Of Experience
 2+ years of pricing strategy or related commercial experience; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Type Of Experience
 Knowledge / experience with B2B and B2B2C business models preferred
 Other roles focused on iterative improvement including entrepreneurship, start-up
 Client-facing, consulting, AND / OR internal strategic roles that directly impact company direction and customer relationships would be beneficial
 Experience in cross functional work groups and working with other departments / functions to execute projects
 Project management skills are a plus
