Technical Customer Support Representative
Posted 2025-04-06A TekStream client is in search of a Technical Support Specialist / Customer Service Representative for an on-site, one year contract opening. This is a 40 hour a week position, (Monday - Saturday with an "off" day during the week on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday), and it is on site in the beautiful Atlanta corporate office. The daily shift will be between the hours of 6am and Midnight. The pay being offered for this opportunity is $18/hr W2.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by interacting and responding to inquiries and assisting customers in IT and operation support, systems and application support, networking support, and many other technologies that are utilized within the organization. Our IT Helpdesk Agents look for ways to serve, get answers, and solve problems in a timely manner for our Team Members.
Responsibilities:  Utilize ticketing system to communicate and document issues  Manage ticket queue daily to ensure all tickets are updated and effectively resolved  Diagnose and troubleshoot simple and complex issues for IT hardware and software by utilizing remote access tools, automation scripts, and monitoring platforms  Follow standard operating procedures  Support departmental goals such as Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Key Metrics  Adhere to work schedule and maintain excellent attendance  Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration on team projects and initiatives
Requirements:  1-3+ years Customer Service / Technical Support Experience (Help Desk or Call Center environment is preferred)  Knowledge / Experience with the Microsoft Office tools  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision  Excellent Customer Service Skills
