Linux Administrator - Storage Specialist

IDR is seeking a Linux Admin to join one of our top clients in Atlanta, GA.

Position Overview for the Linux Administrator:
• Install and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Manage user accounts and security settings.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance.
• Deploy and manage storage solutions (SAN, NAS, iSCSI).
• Monitor storage capacity and performance.
• Implement RAID and manage LVM.
• Ensure data protection with backup tools.
• Automate tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Maintain system and storage documentation.
• Work with DevOps and database teams for integration.
• Provide support during maintenance and outages.

Required Qualifications of the Linux Administrator:
• 3+ years managing Linux systems.
• Strong experience with storage technologies (SAN, RAID, LVM).
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of backup practices.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet).
• Understanding of networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, SSH).
