The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NC DEQ) is actively seeking an accomplished Senior Business/Data Analyst to join our Permit Transformation Program team on a one-year contract basis. Key Responsibilities
 Lead and manage data analysis initiatives across the DEQ enterprise.
 Collaborate with colleagues to develop and standardize an enterprise data model that aligns with the organizationÂs business and technical objectives.
 Provide expert analysis and support to data analysts, architects, and application developers to enhance data management processes.
 Serve as a subject matter expert in technologies including Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS.
Required Skills
 Proficiency in Oracle, DB2, MySQL, and SQL Server.
 Extensive experience with Microsoft Dataverse and Azure Data Factory.
 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
 Ability to mentor and provide guidance to other data professionals.
 Familiarity with enterprise data modeling and management practices.
Qualifications
 A minimum of five years of experience in data analysis or related fields.
 Proven expertise in database management systems and enterprise data modeling.
 Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
 A bachelorÂs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant discipline is required.
