As the Pharmacy Technician - Home Delivery, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions, and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm CST

Primary Responsibilities:  Prescription requests  Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvements  Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content  Creation/routing of pharmacy orders through receipt  Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient calls  Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system  May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details  Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities  Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own function  Acts as a technical resource to others in own function  Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests  Solves moderately complex problems on own  Works with team to solve complex problems  Plans, prioritizes, organizes, and completes work to meet established objectives  Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction  Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned  Extensive work experience within own function  Work is frequently completed without established procedures  Works independently  May coordinate other activities

Required Qualifications:  Active and unrestricted State NHA CpHT license OR Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician license via EXCPT or PTCB without restrictions OR ability to obtain license within 60 days of employment  1+ years of pharmacy experience  18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:  Previous pharmacy technician or patient experience  Call-center or telephonic work  All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
