GMI prepares students and refugees to get their first job after graduation. This is accomplished through a structured, short-term, online mentorship with a business professional enhanced through the power of AI.
GMI was created from the Rockefeller FoundationÂs Digital Jobs Initiative to help prepare students for their first career job using a model that makes it easy for you to be a great mentor without a significant time commitment.
GMI has over 10,200 students and mentors in the program and partners with 60 colleges and youth associations that provide students in 100 countries including eight refugee camps. GMI is adding 500 new students for mentorship in the next 90 days, and we need more mentors!
We make it easy for you to be a great mentor and GMI provides everything you need to guide your student. You don't need to be an expert, just follow the mentor guide, and add your own personal experience.
