Marketing Assistant / Executive

We are looking for an an upbeat, highly creative individual with a Âcan-do attitude and passion for marketing to support our Head of Marketing during a 6-12 month contract role in Central London. This individual will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution across a number of B2B marketing disciplines and the role will suit someone who is keen to pursue a career in this area.
Your help and creative ideas will be pivotal in the launch and brand awareness of exciting new Research products and the ongoing marketing support for our core Digital Transformation consulting business. In return you will gain exposure to all aspects of a rapidly growing business along with extensive on-the-job training.
Duties and responsibilities:  Website updates: maintenance and content updates using Wordpress  Social media management: manage, create and schedule our social media messages across Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, G+ and Instagram. Continue to monitor, engage and report on all activity.  Designing sales collateral: create visually pleasing, branded sales materials including presentations and documents for prospects, clients and investors.  Content creation: keep the content calendar on track working with management and contributors to meet deadlines. Draft blogs, emails, press releases and website content once topic knowledge is developed.  CRM upkeep: ongoing maintenance of CRM database, ensuring new and existing contact details are clean, de-duped and up-to-date for Marketing lists and Sales efforts.  Membership onboarding: help to onboard new member subscriptions alongside Account Managers.  Event support: we often host our own and attend industry conferences which will require support when it comes to planning, organising and promoting.  Research: up-to-date competitive analyses and market research for the business - reporting back to the team.  Office support: adhoc admin and office support for the wider team when needed.
Skills and experience:
 B2B Marketing experience an advantage
 Excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills
 Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise in a fast-paced environment
 Willingness and ability to learn quickly
 Proactive and keen to embrace responsibility
 Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint
 Excellent writing, editing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail
 Basic understanding of the following tools are a bonus: Wordpress, Mailchimp, Hootsuite
 Fluency in English
