 Remote Position, but must live in Birmingham, AL area**
The position will travel to physician offices in Trussville area and must be able to train in person and come to offices in Birmingham area at times.
Position Overview
The Orders Tracking Coordinator will provide tracking and timely follow-up for all physician orders made to the agency ensuring compliance with Aveanna Healthcare policies, procedures and federal/state regulations and guidelines. The position will provide an end to end high quality orders workflow differentiating Aveanna Healthcare in their marketplace and upholding the Aveanna Healthcare Mission in every interaction.
Essential Job Functions
 Functions as the first point of entry on physician orders for effective coordination and follow-up
 Proactive and professional communicator with all parties to ensure timely submission and return of signed orders
 Collaborates with and across the HHH Division to maintain open lines of communication in an effort to resolve issues, challenges, and barriers throughout the referral window
 Processes all orders by close of business each day with a physician signature
 Upload all orders into the EMR system on a daily basis
 Ensures the orders process follows all applicable local, state, or federal regulatory requirements, as well as Aveanna Healthcare policies and procedures
 Other duties as assigned
Requirements
 High school diploma or GED
 Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and TEAMS
 Prior home health or public health services with medical terminology
Preferences
 Experience with Home Care Home Base preferred
