VP, Channel Sales (Remote U.S.)

Uniguest is seeking a VP of Channel Sales to lead and oversee the activities of a remote sales team specializing in solutions spanning several vertical markets such as: Stadium/Sports, Corporate, Retail, Government, Education and others as appropriate. In this position, youÂll be responsible for developing action plans to generate demand, interest and excitement for UniguestÂs solutions by developing and driving effective selling strategies through the Channel Partner ecosystem across all verticals.
Reporting directly to the EVP of Sales, youÂll collaborate with various stakeholders to outline strategies to assist your team in achieving sales goals. In addition, the position provides input and participates in the preservation of recurring and predictable revenue.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales Leadership and Team Management
 Direct sales activities and processes that generate new business and deepen existing relationships, while expanding new channel partnerships.
 Motivate and engage your sales team to meet and exceed established sales quotas and revenue goals across an Enterprise suite of products and services.
 Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and present demos to prospective and existing customers
Sales Enablement
 Partner with internal stakeholders and other relevant functions to build new tools and continuously improve existing tools and drive adoption by the sales team
 Provide clear and consistent communication to an assigned sales team relative to company direction, performance, and achievements.
 Develop solution proposals for customers on products & services
Sales Operations & Planning
 Research, develop and maintain long- & short-range sales plans
 Review and adjust sales coverage, product mix targets and assigned call lists
 Produce weekly forecast reports & quarterly plans for ManagerÂs approval
Sales Strategy & Planning
 Work with leadership to develop and maintain detailed account plans that includes the description of the account, key contacts within the account, strategy to gain maximum account penetration, competitive account pressure, and defined action steps for each account.
 Complete an internal account plan review with the Uniguest executive team on a quarterly basis
Experience & Skills
 Strong written and verbal communication skills
 Strong business acumen
 Proficiency in Salesforce.com or other web-based CRMs
 Proficiency in MS Office
Required Qualifications
 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing (Technology space, Content and Video distribution preferred)
 5+ years of Sales Leadership experience
 5+ Years of Channel management
 Understanding of 3 or more key vertical markets
 Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
