Customer Service Sales Associate - Part Time Retail Position

Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort is seeking a skilled and customer-focused part-time retail sales associate to join our team at the Broad Creek Mercantile Shop. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional shopping experience for our guests by offering personalized product recommendations, handling transactions efficiently, and maintaining a clean and well-organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:  Operate a point-of-sale system (cash register), handle cash, and maintain accurate records of sales transactions  Maintain a high level of product knowledge and provide expert recommendations to guests  Restock shelves, manage inventory, and ensure a visually appealing store display  Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise  Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. You should also be able to stand for up to three hours at a time and lift heavy objects occasionally. As this is a part-time position, you must be available to work a minimum of three days per week, including one weekend day, and be willing to work national/state holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:  Previous experience working in retail or sales environments  Ability to speak multiple languages
