International Ventures is a construction firm, founded nearly 40 years ago, providing construction services for secure Government facilities all throughout the world. We are seeking a CONUS & OCONUS Construction Project Manager to manage various construction projects, multiple aspects of any project, and lead project crews during on-site construction activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Review IFBÂs (invitation for bid) and help estimate bids.
 Generate material take-offs.
 Assist with RFQÂs (request for quotations), project scheduling & final bid proposals.
 Create BOM (bill of materials) and review inventory checklists.
 Travel to construction sites for surveys, kick-off meetings, & project execution.
 Frequently participate in CONUS and OCONUS construction activities.
 Generate and review change orders and RFIÂs (request for information).
 Manage and lead crews on various projects to maintain timely turn-over and execution.
 Understand budgetary practices and make key financial decisions for companyÂs prosperity and customer relationships.
 Prepare and generate progress reports shared to company stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
 Strong experience of construction scheduling, estimating, and material procurement. Minimum 5 years construction management experience.
 Understanding of building code(s), regulations, & standards.
 Ability to read and interpret building plans, documents, & reports.
 Working knowledge of SCIF construction & ICD-705.
 Proficient written & oral skills.
 Strong leadership skills & highly organized.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office. Particularly, word, excel, & MS project.
 Ability to understand and use Procore throughout various project stages.
License(s) and Certification:
 HS diploma or GED. BachelorÂs degree from an accredited college, a plus.
 DriverÂs License (required)
 TS Clearance (SCI, preferred)
 Ability to maintain security clearance
 PMP certification a plus
 OSHA 10
Physical Demands:
 Applicant must be capable of twisting, turning, bending, lifting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time. Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. may occur.
 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required on certain projects.
Travel:
 As Construction Project Manager, you will be required to travel frequently. This position requires travel approximately 50% of the year, with varying durations of several days to several months. This position, while mostly remote when CONUS, may require frequent travel to/from our home office in Rhode Island.
